Hi everyone! 

My name is Elizabeth Brown, and I’m currently a Staff Accountant at the Georgia Tech Foundation. I attended the NACUBO conference in May 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the presentations and networking opportunities.

That said, I would love to continue my professional growth and development within Accounting. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for the formal mentee program offered through SACUBO for aspiring CBO/CFO/CAO’s. I would love to be partnered with an accounting professional to create a development plan. Would anyone here be interesting in this opportunity or have a referral for me?

Hi Elizabeth! 

My name is Hailey Jo and I am an auditor for the University of Alaska systems office. I have been the the auditing department for three years, so I am not the most experienced, but I would love to connect. If you have an interested in auditing, I would check out ACUA, Association of College and University Auditors. I am a mentee in their mentoring program and it has gone very well. If that is not what you are interested, I would reach out to other accounting specific organizations such as a local chapter of the NSA (National Society of Accountants, AAA (American Accounting Association), or IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors).
