I am also interested in seeing how other institutions handle this type of training. At Colby, I tend to handle the training for New Hires, but it is not a mandatory training, and our turnout is never high. I'd like to know what tools/job aids/etc you use and what your process looks like. We have tried different things here, but nothing seems to stick, and our office ends up spending a lot of time explaining how to use or perform certain tasks in WD when it could have been handled through the training we provide.

We have an Organizational, Development, and Training dept. which will be offering "Train the Trainer" sessions, but I'm not sure what it will entail.
