Greetings Colleagues,
My name is Timothy Shuey, a doctoral candidate in Marshall University’s Doctor of Business Administration program with a concentration in accounting.
My research is focused on budget models in higher education, management control systems, and how institutional characteristics influence financial decision-making and resource allocation. The sample population is U.S. based, 4-year, nonprofit higher education institutions.
I am inviting participants to complete a short survey utilizing a five-point Likert scale and it should take no more than fifteen minutes to complete.
All survey data gathered in this research will be confidential and no institutional specific information will be in the dissertation. The data collected is strictly for academic purposes.
You or a colleague at your institution may have received an email invitation to participate in my quantitative study. If you have completed the survey, thank you very much.
If you or an institutional colleague has not received an invitation and would like to participate, please send me a direct email at shuey@marshall.edu.
Thank you for your consideration and your insights are extremely valuable in understanding the influence of the budget model and the financial and student success outcomes.
Kind regards,
Tim
