  • 1.  Campus Store Outsourcing

    Posted 6 days ago

Ashland University is currently a self-operator of its campus stores, and we are performing a thorough financial and operational assessment including considerations for the possibility of an outsource partner. If you outsource your campus store:

    1. Who is your outsource partner
    2. Are you satisfied with your partner
    3. If you're satisfied, please express those elements that leads you to your satisfaction
    4. If you're not satisfied with your partner, what are the key elements to your dissatisfaction
    5. If you completed a RFP within the past three-years, would you be willing to share your RFP template

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

TU is currently moving from internal to external operations. We have selected Follett as our outsourcing partner (public knowledge).  They have a proven success record, and the reason we selected them was their attention to the treatment of existing staff members during the transitional period and their willingness to assist in bridging those staff members post-transition to the outsourcing model, particularly those who opt not to move over to Follett employment.  They are very experienced in the business, so the transition has been great (relatively) with their expertise.  Not without hiccups or concern, but that's expected during a major organizational shift.

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat.
