  • 1.  API Costs for Chat GPT or CoPilot

    Does anyone have hard costs for APIs used in ChatGPT or CoPilot or can direct me to learn more?  I/We have been told "tokens" but getting hard evidence on how this works seems difficult.  And to budget seems even more difficult.  Reminds me of "per text message" charges when I was 16........  

    A CoPilot example would be using an Agent to answer questions on a public facing website regarding Commencement Activities.  I am told that this agent is charged back by usage.  But to understand the "click" charge as i would call it seems nebulous.

    Hi Raymond,

    For API use with ChatGPT, you will need to buy tokens. I recommend that you check out openAI website about platform to learn more about how that works. Here is the link https://platform.openai.com/docs/pricing. In order to use API, you will need to purchase credits that get you a certain number of tokens. Since Copilot uses ChatGPT platform, I would like to assume that it works the same way.
